Brass Band Conductors’ Association’s (BBCA) conducting Competition2024で1位をいただきました

Continuing from Bucharest, I am very honored to announce that I won first prize at the Brass Band Conductors Association‘s (BBCA) conducting Competition 2024 held yesterday in Manchester, England!
In the semi-finals, I had the opportunity to conduct The Hammonds Band(former Yorkshire Building Society Band), the band I have admired since I was in junior high school, and in the finals I conducted the wonderful Eccles Borough Band…
And this time also I was with my super colleagues, congrats for Gary Andrew, Neil Brownless!
I really appreciate to organizer, Ms.Sarah Groarke-Booth and Mr.Morgan Griffiths, Mr.Russell Gray, and Both Band, and every kindly supporters.
I thoroughly enjoyed this competition.

My musical journey has just begun!
I will continue to do my best!!!

先日に引き続き大変光栄なご報告なのですが、昨日イギリス・マンチェスターにて開催されていた英国式ブラスバンド協会主催の国際指揮者コンクール2024で1位をいただきました!
このコンクールは英国式ブラスバンドを対象とした指揮者コンクールで、セミファイナルでは中学生の頃からの憧れヨークシャービルディングソサエティバンド(現ハモンズバンド)を指揮させていただくことができ、決勝では素晴らしいエクルズボローバンドを指揮…感無量でした!!!
そしてとにかく英国式ブラスバンドを指揮できるということが楽しく、金管の響きにどっぷりと浸かってひたすらエンジョイしました。
改めて今回のオーガナイザー、審査員のサラ・グローク・ブースさん、モーガン・グリフィスさんそしてラッセル・グレイさん、素晴らしい両バンド、そしていつも支えてくださる皆様に感謝を申し上げます。

そしてこの賞は”バンド”という文化が自分を育ててくれたからにほかなりません。
奥部屋(母校の部室)でCDを聞いて盛り上がっている中学生の僕ら、E室(これまた母校の部室)で奮闘している大学生の僕らにも感謝したいです。

引き続き頑張ります!!!
